Who are we?

Impande is a Zulu word meaning ‘roots’. We chose this name because it aptly describes our business and communicates our business philosophy in a succinct and impactful manner. Our business focus is on building lifelong relationships with our clients and the communities we serve. Just like the roots of a tree, we aim to nourish all our stakeholders so that together with us, they may become fruitful. We base our relationships on a solid foundation upon which a sound business can be built. This also feeds our motto which is, “Engineering Our Community on Solid Ground”. 

Our Background

Impande was founded in 2009 and we can safely say that the roots have taken form and they are getting stronger by the day. We have a wide footprint across South Africa and our presence extends to Kwa-Zulu Natal, Gauteng and Western Cape province. The main aim for the founding of the organisation was that of providing multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering and Project Management consultancy services within the Built Environment professions.
